Smoke on the Coast
The annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival is July 3 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join the celebration with delicious food, family entertainment, and live music. Located at Destin Commons, Smoke on the Coast brings more than 18 local restaurants and BBQ groups together to deliver the best cuisine. Attendees cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice title. Don’t miss the evening fireworks show.
HarborWalk Village Fireworks
Celebrate the 4th of July at the HarborWalk Village in Destin. The event will also feature live music and entertainment throughout the evening. Join the fun from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Southern Star Dolphin Firework Cruise
The Southern Star Dolphin Cruise is arguably the best spot to watch fireworks. The Fireworks cruise sets sail at 8:15 p.m. on July 4 and lasts for one hour. Reservations should be made in advance and booking opens up two weeks prior.
Okaloosa Island Fireworks on The Boardwalk
Fireworks are set off weekly during the summer on Okaloosa Island. You can catch the show from the Okaloosa Island Pier on Wednesday evenings at 9 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The show is free. Bring a towel, blanket, or beach chair to relax as you enjoy the show.
