We have always stayed at Destin West. We love the amenities. The condo we stayed at this time, needs a few upgrades. I do love that there was no carpet at all. Not enough washcloths and towels for our family. Had to repeatedly wash. The washer super loud but most stackables, I have noticed are. We tried to wash while out at beach or out to dinner. Cannot handle while at condo. Will be back but will be a little more particular on condo selections.

I wanted to relax on the beach with a lazy river & the teen boys wanted to fish. This unit & condo was the perfect combination. My boys want to go back!!! #415 has a really nice view of the beach and the pool. It was conveniently located just steps away from the parking garage. This made it so easy for us to load & unload. We were able to park next to the exit on the 4th level leading to our unit everyday we were there. Our teenage boys 14 & 16 (plus a 15 yr old friend) were easily entertained. There was so much to do within walking distance from the condo for them. Both the beach & the bay fishing piers restaurants, arcade, go karts, souvenir stores, gas station that sold fishing bait. They spent so much time (morning to night) on the bay pier fishing and actually caught fish to keep them wanting more. They never had to ask us to drive them anywhere. Therefore we had more time to relax on the beach or in the lazy river. The boys loved it and are ready to go back! Definitely worth it!

This property was just perfect for my wife and I, and our 2 kids (10 yr old, and 8 yr old). This unit had a great view of the Gulf and overlooked the pool as well. Condo had everything we needed and was just a short walk around the pool to the beach. The drive over to Destin was about 7 minutes. This condo couldn't have worked out any better for the week.

Condo not for people that stay 4-5 weeks. Living room furniture very uncumfortable kitchen ����‍♀️ no baking pans ,no broiler pan , no can opener
Best part was the bed ����very very comfy !

The unit was somewhat tired and had simple accommodations. The bathroom closet had 2 old toasters on the shelf. Appliances and kitchen equipment/supplies were basic, at best. There wasn't a can opener, no dish soap, 1 trash bag, no single pod for laundry, etc. I'm not sure how they expect you to make sure all dishes were clean if they don't provide at least a small dish soap bottle. The view was the best part of the experience. I would have preferred a better check-in / out process. Having to go across the street to check in and again to return pool bands was cumbersome.

The resort was very nice, but our unit desperately needs a deep cleaning and some updates. The furniture, walls, curtains and rugs were visibly dirty and stained. Our expectations for the condo were much greater considering what we paid. We would stay at Destin West again, but would look into a different unit.

The grounds and facilities were well maintained. The condo was clean but the furnishings were dated and had a grimy feel along with not very comfortable. Definitely in need of an update.

Great condo and great overall experience with so many amenities and wonderful pools and awesome lazy river
Negative: I understand it’s peak season but when I pay a pretty penny for a condo, it should be ready before 6 pm or even later as the unfriendly front desk staff kept reminding me when I asked
