UNDERWATER: The Living Sea Experience Yoga at the Gulfarium

Step into another world with UNDERWATER, a one-of-a-kind after-hours yoga experience inside Gulfarium’s breathtaking Living Sea Aquarium. As the park closes for the evening, the glow of the aquarium transforms the space into an immersive setting unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Surrounded by marine life and the calming blue hues of the Living Sea, you’ll move through a slow, ocean-inspired yoga flow designed to help you disconnect from the ordinary and reconnect with a sense of wonder. This isn’t just a yoga class. It’s an opportunity to experience the Living Sea Aquarium in an entirely new way. With marine life as your backdrop and the peaceful atmosphere of the aquarium after dark, UNDERWATER invites you to slow down, be present, and take in the magic of the ocean from a unique perspective. The experience concludes with a spectacular view of The Boardwalk’s Okaloosa Island fireworks display, adding the perfect finale to an unforgettable evening. Dates: July 15 & August 5 Doors open at 7:15 PM, with check-in taking place in the Gulfarium lobby. Class begins promptly at 7:30 PM and lasts approximately one hour. This experience is open to guests ages 12 and up. Participants under the age of 18 must be able to follow instructions and participate independently throughout the class....

One of Destin’s most celebrated traditions, the Destin Seafood Festival kicks off the Destin Fishing Rodeo that extends the entire month of October. The event was started in 1978 by the Destin Charter Boat Association Women’s Auxiliary. While the festival has grown into its new home on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, the Destin Seafood Festival remains the primary fundraiser for the Destin Charter Boat Association. Formed in 1954, the Destin Charter Boat Association is a Non Profit Organization that provides many valuable contributions to our beloved city: their primary function is advocacy for Fisheries Management. They also contribute to various community development projects, and award a scholarship to the winner of the Miss Destin Pageant. The festival is always FREE TO ATTEND. Walk over 75 vendors to shop, explore, listen to music and eat delicious seafood all weekend long. Grab your VIP tickets! A smaller, more local seafood festival will be taking place inside the larger Destin Seafood Festival on Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27.
