Everything was wonderful as always. The only things that were problems were that housekeeping didn’t leave us extra bedding as they have in the past for the pull out beds, the internet service was out in our condo, and several dishes were dirty. We’ll look at a different condo unit next year simply because we’ll have less family going with us.

Destin West is always a wonderful location for our family vacation vacation while our grandchildren have fall break from school. The weather and water are usually great. This is our first time staying in the unit 603. The layout is great, the large patio is wonderful and we have plenty of room for the 11 people in our family. The patio furniture is not in great condition and should be updated soon. Not long after checking in, we found the microwave did not work. We called the front desk and they had maintenance there in no time. They could not fix the over the range microwave, but brought us a counter style one to use that same day. They always provide great service and are very responsive. This is our 4th year and we plan to be back next year. They lazy River is fun for all of us, the ocean is near by and we always have a great week playing

Time to update furniture. The condo was clean and view from balcony is wonderful. We have been coming to Destin west for 10 years and love the grounds, lazy river and management is very helpful. I will not use Osprey 603 again until condo furniture is a updated.

Great resort--nice pools and close to several restaurants, activities, and the beach. This unit has great views of the bay and pool area, however it is in dire need of updating and a deep cleaning--the furnishings are worn down and outdated. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, but the appliances are worn out and need to be replaced. The beautiful large balcony is great for eating and lounging, but the outdoor furnishings are also broken and worn down, time to replace. A nice space that just needs some attention to be brought back a great one--for the money spent wouldnt rent again in its current condition, compared to other beautiful units at the resort.

We were elated as we walked through the door. So much room, comfort, and view. The balcony was enormous and so well appointed for several guests. So much space for everyone beds, closets, bathrooms. Comfort everywhere. The washer and dryer were nice to have. The grounds, pools, and exercise room, provided with the stay were all top shelf. My only problem was the need for wristbands to be in the common areas. With so many in our party it was a pain to pay $40 for each missing blue rubber band.

We have stayed at Destin West every year for nearly 10 years. This is the year we decided that our next Destin trip we would stay somewhere else. The condo was just okay...broken ice maker, AC didn't work appropriately (one room was freezing while two other bedrooms were hot, and AC in front area could never keep up). The slats in the curtains/blinds were missing and/or kept falling off, so really hard to keep out the light for those sleeping on sofa beds. The carpets were honestly disgusting with stains. Plenty of sleeping space, but this condo needs a little TLC.

Additionally, we never saw anyone checking bands or monitoring the private pool area. We had the same group every day that smoked at the pool and we are certain there were non-guests in our pool. The bathroom door at the pool was never unlocked. I called nearly every day to asked for it to be unlocked. The boats in the bay played their music so loud that it was impossible to even enjoy the pool, and it was heard in our room much later at night than any of us would have liked.

The overall property was fine, but it seemed liked there was not enough tubes for the lazy river, even when it was not busy.

I'm disappointed to be writing this review, as we really loved this spot

We love it at Destin West! My family and I keep coming back every year. My only suggestion would be to have a better plunger for obvious reasons. It has no suction. Everything else was top notch!

There was room for everyone which was absolutely perfect. So close to the beach and so many pools to choose from made vacation fabulous! Condo does need more attention when being cleaned bathrooms felt a bit moldy floors need a deep scrub and the beds and box springs need to be replaced very badly.

We found this condo complex very nice! It was clean and grounds and pools were very well kept! Views of the bay were second to none and we could walk to the beach, ricks and rockin tacos!!! Check in was easy and parking was never a problem! Kids loved the lazy river most of all!!
