Description

Villa PH02 is a pent house suite on the highest floor, overlooking the Okaloosa Island and the Gulf of Mexico. The double decker balcony is furnished with a four-person hot tub and lounge. The studio pent house suite on the highest floor for panoramic views and bright natural light throughout.

This vacation rental includes a king size bed, living room with queen-size sleeper, and kitchenette. Each room includes entertainment centers and personal storage. The master en suite is decorated with a king-size bed, private patio access, Jacuzzi tub, and large walk-in shower.

The two-story balcony with incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico and modern décor make this penthouse suite the perfect backdrop to any luxurious beach vacation.

The unit includes free WiFi and a rooftop lounge.

We were very impressed with this unit because it was so spacious-all the rooms were large and ceilings are very high. Everything worked properly other than the ice maker in the refrigerator door (but it still make ice in the freezer). The unit was nice and cold when we arrived and stayed cold throughout our stay. The pools were big and the walk to the ocean was not too long. The walk to the lazy River was a bit longer but not bad. Our unit could use cosmetic updates for sure but everything we needed was there. The hot tub did leak but still worked properly otherwise. We only encountered 1 staff member during our trip-working the front desk and she was very nice and helpful in recommending restaurants. Our unit was ready early when we checked in. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, well equipped, with a great view. The weekend we stayed happened to be the coldest in forty years in Florida so we were unable to enjoy the lazy river. We do think the tv in the room could have been larger. Over all it was great, we will be returning during warm weather with our grandkids.

Everything was even better than expected for us. The room was bigger than it all looked in the pictures with nice tall ceilings. The balcony and rooftop views are great. The parking garage is VERY close and so is the stairway to go over to the bay side or the elevator to go down to the pools and beach. The resort itself was not busy at all, but that may not be very common. Overall an awesome vacation!

Overall it was a great experience. We always love staying at Destin West. We love having the lazy river access, it makes a huge difference when you have kids. Also loved the personal hot tub that we had in this condo. Only complaint I would have is this certain one definitely needs some updates. The front door has a gap when it's shut, and is hard to open, there's some trim coming off in spots, and other small things, but didn't hurt the great experience. Would help if it was updated though.

The overall property itself is quite nice, however, this particular unit is in desperate need of deep cleaning and renovation. There was black dust on the ceiling from the HVAC vents, broken/damaged trim, washer and dryer in very poor shape, and the large sliding glass doors did not completely shut. Artwork was missing and or broken and outdoor furniture in disrepair and the mattress needs replaced.

The PH2 condo is sizable and well appointed. Property is well maintained and has easy access with lots of convenient garage parking. I found the check in and out experience to be very efficient and simple as well.

Condo door doesn't close properly and needs some repairs made, but it was a small issue overall.

Our honeymoon stay was fantastic! When we initially booked this space we didn’t realize how much we would utilize the rooftop balcony and hot tub. Such a great spot with decent privacy! Clean, fun, easy access to so many fun things around town. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied with our experience with Destin West Vacations. Our rental was clean and stocked with the basic necessities. Plenty of pools to choose from. Beach/ocean are beautiful but not a lot of space for the size of the resort and amount of people. Too many rental chairs and umbrellas set up in prime sitting areas so you aren’t able to get a good spot unless you rent them and not everyone wants to rent them.

Overall the stay was wonderful VPH02 was not wonderful, though. The hot tub was worn out and did not work properly, The outside furniture did not exist around the hot tub, The downstairs outside furniture should have been replaced long ago. The entrance door was very difficult to open. My wife could not push it open. I highly recommend Destin West Villas, but please stay away from unit VPH02

We loved this condo! It was the perfect location right in the middle of all of the pools and on the beach side as well. The views were amazing and having your own hot tub on the roof was one of out favorite things! You can drive to the top of the parking garage and park in front of the unit also. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk was exceptionally professional as well! The condo was larger than expected too and the bunk beds were on the other side of the condo with their own bathroom. Overall, it’s a great place and we will definitely be back!
