Beachside villa has gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico! Condo is located on the Gulf side of Destin West Beach & Bay Resort and is perfect for a couple and family of four. This vacation rental includes a kitchenette, breakfast bar, two entertainment centers, sleeper sofa, and private balcony with Gulf of Mexico and Okaloosa Island Views. The bathroom includes a luxurious garden tub, and large walk-in shower. The condo is tiled throughout.

Nice location. Room bigger than expected. Perfect for 2. Bed is old and headboard is very loose. Need a new mattress and bedding. Sheets had a stain. Shower stall floor needs a good cleaning. We loved the pools and beach service. Our family stayed on the bayside so we were right in the middle. We would stay again.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather during our stay! The resort itself had several different pools and amentities that accommodated our family with small children. The short distance to the beach from our property was ideal. The only thing that would have improved our stay would’ve been a more comfortable mattress for the bed and the pullout couch. Also, to possibly provide more bath towels since this room didn’t have a washer or dryer. I would highly recommend Destin West for anyone looking to stay in Destin with small children! We look forward to our stay next summer.

We absolutely loved the studio and it was close to the beach! The lazy river is wonderful for the children! We love the location of this condo with close proximity to great restaurants too!

Destin West is by far the best location with several amenities in Fort Walton Beach. The actual condo needs to have their sliding door fixed so that it shuts all the way, but otherwise, it was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay. They have several swimming pools and they were not crowded. It is close to the boardwalk so easy access to shop and eat. Great room for a small family. We have stayed in several different condos on Okaloosa Island and I think we will choose this one from now on due to the location and amenities for kids.

We stayed 5 nights in this villa. It is an excilant location, fair price, and a Nice place to stay. The pools are great on both the Beach side and the Bay side of the resort. Everything is clean at the resort and the beach is nice too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

After traveling 8 hours we had to wait more than 2 hours to get into our room. I was so mad I couldn’t even look at the lady taking care of us. It was almost like so what, but that was how I felt. Once in the room my husband set on the bed and he thought the headboard was going to fall off. The bed moved back and forth, anyway it stayed together. Next we noticed the frig had out of order on it and they had put a very small one in to replace the bigger one. It would have been ok for a one night stay but 4 nights not so much. I had to take a shelf out just to put some milk in it. The mattresses need replacing something terrible. As soon as we took the cushions off couch there was sand on the pull out bed and the mattress was terrible, so we went and bought a blow up mattress to use. The place itself is ok, we had a good visit in Fort Walton and Destin. The lazy river was a nice break.

The location was great. We needed up driving to Pensacola because it was close. Our room was right across from the parking garage so we was able to keep an eye on it. Besides having to go get our own towels across the street, we had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Discovery West. Our Villa was bigger than expected and had a nice balcony. I would recommend replacing the bed and bedding. Headboard was very loose. Mattress seemed very old. Needs to be a king size with smaller night tables. Kitchen was good for what we needed. Needs a set of bowls for cut up fruit or mixing bowls. Other than that it was nice. Our family stayed on the bayside so we were right in between the beach and bay.

room was clean, no frills experience. the stove, fridge and microwave where clutch in making your own food. the was plenty of dishes pots and pans ETC. not sure how to get fresh towels was the only downside.

The room was perfect for a family of four. The bed could be more comfortable though. It was not clear where to check-in when we arrived. The check-in office was on the other side of the street from the Villas. Beach access was very convenient. Parking was very close to rooms as well. Lazy pool was very nice. Overall it was an awesome first trip to Destin for us. We actually preferred Okaloosa island more than Destin. Destin downtown was very crowded and hassle to drive and find parking in. Destin West is perfectly located in Okaloosa island and better for families with kids especially with Gulfarium in walking distance.

The rental was clean. The only thing that I would say would be bring extra bath and beach towels. We enjoyed the pools and the beach. We had a great time!
