The Condo far met our expectations! The view was beautiful. We loved the location as we did not have to travel by car but could walk if we wanted to local entertainment and resturants.

Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and stay at the condo. Staff was very attentive, grounds are well kept. Slight issue with ants in the condo and front door to condo not latching but overall we will be back!! We loved it!

We have come to Destin West for several years now and every year we are impressed with the beauty and relaxing atmosphere. It is well maintained and if you have kids is the perfect place to stay. Also very well located to many attractions of the area. Highly recommended.

Everything was exactly as advertised! Condo was clean and well appointed! We got in late.. Kyle was awesome. Because we were getting in after the office was going to be closed, He called us while we were at the airport and sent me the Info we needed to get us in to our condo and let us finish check in the next day! Would definitely recommend pelican to anyone interest.  Easy walk to the beach. Very friendly staff! Try the lobster roll at the Lobster Tail across the street or venture off the beaten path to Dominic’s Pizzaria for the best local pizza!

This was just enough space for a family of four to stay! We enjoyed the balcony view of the bay, with convenient walk to the beach!

Sheets did not appear that they had been cleaned. Throws smelled like sweat. Area rug in living room smelled like bad feet and was dirty.
Sofa stained and smelled like sweat.shag carpet in bunk area extremely stiff and stained which looked like old dog poo stain. Black mold in shower. Kitchen was clean, no plastic storage for food. Resort was great overall, clean hallways, paths, grounds. Great location, great staff. Balcony was ok needed spray cleaning. Outdated condo furniture. Unit needs attention. It's privately owned. Not resort owned.I had to wash sheets before we slept on them.I had to wash throws to get rid of smell. Rug was disgusting so we worn shoes inside. Didn't want to catch a fungus! Shower needs a dose of bleach.wokud stay at resort not unit Pelican 602

We had a wonderful stay at Destin West and loved this condo. I have high standards for cleanliness and I was very impressed when we first arrived at how well the cleaning crew did. The condo felt bigger than it appeared in the photos and the view was gorgeous. It was so nice to have a king bed in the master bedroom also. We did not have any problems during our stay, my only recommendation would be to add a couple of barstools under the kitchen counter overhang but obviously that's not a big deal. The ocean is crystal clear and beautiful and we loved eating at Rick's next door. It's an easy walk, a nice atmosphere and they had great pizza. We can't wait to come back, thanks for having us!

We love everything about this place. Have had great time it the pool and hot tub. My son and husband even went in the lazy river. Had an small issue and the peiole in the office were nice and had it fixed in not time.
