Great size condo for a couple or a couple and two kids. Other than some dust on the walls And some hair in the drain of the shower. The condo was clean. A/C worked great. Dishwasher worked great. Hot water was plentiful, stove was suffice, fridge and freezer extremely cold. Tv was small but suited our need for just a short weekend with many channels. The balcony was very spacious. Check in was simple as well as check out. Not really a great view of the ocean. However, we knew this going in. The balcony looks over one of the smaller pools and it is in a quiet location. The room is located near the elevator to go down to the beach. We had no wait time for the elevators. The room was close to and on the same floor as the cross walk to go across the street to the lazy river. Parking was easy. Park on the third deck and just simply walk right to your room. If this room had a washer and dryer along with a stove my wife and I would definitely book this condo for a longer period of time.

We enjoyed our stay in Villa 301. The Destin West property as a whole is very clean and well kept. The villa was nicely decorated and well stocked. The only improvement I would suggest is a new mattress on the bed. We have stayed at Destin West many times in various condos and have always been pleased with the accommodations.

We came for our anniversary and arrived with perfect weather at a nice resort. We enjoyed short walks to get food and drinks. The lazy river was my favorite, the relaxation was worth every penny! We look forward to coming back in the future!

We have stayed at Destin West for the last 10years. This particular unit was not our favorite. The room wasn’t clean. The floor ahead a greasy feel to it and the show was the same. We tried to just clean it up and enjoy our stay. The room definitely needs some maintenance. The door to the balcony does shut properly or lock. Just several things that is not normally like this when we stay. People seems to be leaving trash on the walk ways and not cleaning up after themselves. This was new to us because the property has always been clean. Kind of disappointing. One of the guys at the lazy river kept harassing people because of the color of the bands they were wearing. Usually the bands are green. This time mine was blue and the guy beside us at the pool had a purple or maroon one. That Destin west gave us. The guy seemed to have a power trip. People pay good money to stay at Destin west and dont want to be harassed by a janitor on a power trip. This is the second trip we have made this year to stay at Destin west and still have a 3rd one planned. Hopefully some of these things get addressed.

Very clean! Good space for Adults with small kids would not recommend for Four Adults only because there is no private space.Really the only thing I have a complaint on is STAFF not friendly at all from checking in , asking for additional towels to checkout very nasty attitude I felt like we were a bother to them!

Had a great time and the unit we stayed in was top notch. It was very clean, everything worked, it was delightfully decorated, and very convenient. Also had everything in it that we needed. Great place!!!
